A+E: Xbox Series X vs PS5

by Ryan Tavera

Two giants in the gaming industry will once again clash as both Microsoft and Sony release their new consoles into the market, while both are a force to be reckoned with. Which one is worth your money?

Once again the time has come where consumers are forced to pick a side in the dreaded battle that has clouded the gaming industry for years – Xbox vs Playstation. While there isn’t a particularly wrong choice to make here (depending on who you ask), it is important that when deciding which console to purchase, you know what you’re getting.

Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X have hit the market and are ready to pave the way for the next generation of console gaming. The Xbox Series X arrived on November 10 and costs $499. A cheaper version, the Xbox Series S, is available for $299. The PlayStation 5 came out November 12 and is priced at $499, with a digital edition that removes the disc drive costing $399.

So, which console is more powerful?

Typically, the average consumer could care less about the specific tech and numbers that each console possesses. However, it is still a key selling point when considering which console to purchase. (See below for a table comparing key hardware components of the two consoles)

Both consoles are evenly matched elsewhere. They each have 16 GB of memory and support 4K resolution gaming at launch. And when it comes to the latest flashy technology, both Sony and Microsoft have worked to incorporate ray-tracing, a technology that makes light and shadow look better in-game, and offer 3D audio for more immersive sound.

Sony does have one advantage. The PS5 can push through data at 5.5 GB per second, compared to the Xbox Series X, which works at 2.4GB per second. That could mean marginally faster load times, and less time spent on a loading screen.

Despite the flashy numbers that both companies wear like a shiny badge they shouldn’t make or break what console you decide to buy for further in-depth information regarding the specs of both consoles click here

A more attractive aspect of both consoles are exclusive games. An exclusive is a game that can only be played on a certain console. For example, when Microsoft first got their feet wet in the gaming industry with their release of the original Xbox in 2001, a big selling factor that legitimatized Microsoft as a video game company to this day is Halo Combat Evolved. Since 2001, Halo has remained a staple in Microsoft’s assortment of games, and the franchise has swayed consumers for years to choose the Xbox over Playstation.

However, in recent years, this has changed, as their flagship titles such as Halo and Gears of War are no longer the hard-hitting or cutting edge giants they were years ago and recent installment of the franchises have continually let fans down as they fail to live up to the legends they once were.

On the other hand, Sony has kept turning on the heat with ambitious games such as Uncharted 4, God of War, Last of Us 2, Spiderman and Bloodborne while the Xbox has coasted by being the console you get because your friends have an Xbox.

This problem is only being highlighted in the recent release of the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5, with Xbox’s new engine, new developers, 120 frames per second, and a trailer that has hyped fans for the upcoming installment of the Halo franchise.

Microsoft is trying to hit the restart button with the release of their most powerful console to date, while Sony is attempting to maintain a stranglehold on its base of support from the gaming community with the new PS5.

A+E: All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten, A Story Of Life-Long Lessons To Reflect On In A Time Of Despair

By Joaquin Medrano, Managing Editor

The Saint Joseph High School theatre department along with the Saint John Bosco theatre department presents a play about life and the simplicity of it, and the joy of every little moment, in a very extraordinary manner.

All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten is a play structured in a vignette/short story format, where a cast member interprets different roles in every scene tied into a single theme that relates to life.

After the incredible experience of the Saint John Bosco fall production of Coherence, Saint Joseph High School followed with their own production, a different outlook into a brighter and cheerful interpretation of everything going on around the world.

As the talented students in the show have been preparing for weeks, for a “production that could have met Cecil B. DeMille’s approval,” everyone from the tech crew to every castmate cannot wait for everyone to enjoy the show.

“One interesting moment I’ve encountered was trying to figure out how we were going to produce the show with COVID going on,” said Saint Joseph senior and theatre veteran Lola Powell, “[But] we need theatre in a moment like this for people to have a good laugh an just a place to escape, even for a few hours, and leave everything on hold for that moment.”

Kindergarten, normally called by the cast and directors, is more than a play of different stories with different morals to reflect on life. Kindergarten is an experience, live-streamed from Saint Joseph High School every single day, with stories that relate to the actors, and show the beauty of theatre in an extremely fascinating way.

Not only does the story reflect on everything going on around in 2020, but also allows for extremely crucial ideas that can transcend society, no matter what the year is.

Everyone in the cast and crew has enjoyed the experience, including the challenges that COVID gave the actors, even in a world where the art form is depleting.

“It has been truly a pleasure and an honor to work with Mr. V, his positive attitude radiates off of him and transfers to everyone around him,” said Bosco junior and first-time actor Gian Noble, “This production has really been a blast and I feel as if my castmates and I are like a family now.”

Theatre becomes more than an experience for people, theatre becomes a passion and a second family for many, and in times where that definition is extremely vague, Kindergarten allowed for a community to be fostered around everyone who was a part of it.

No matter if you believe in the art form or not, All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten is a one in a lifetime opportunity to not only see the talent of Saint John Bosco and Saint Joseph students at its finest but also be able to take away a greater and deeper message forever.

Both first-time actors and returning actors have enjoyed the experience, they thank Kindergarten for all that they learned and the greater message of unity, life, and how quick it all is to miss any incredible moments such as this show.

Performances for the show start tomorrow, Thursday, November 12th, and continue on Friday, November 13th, Thursday, November 19th, and end Friday, November 20th. All performances start at 7:30 PM and information for tickets can be accessed through this link.

The cast and crew of All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten are excited to deliver this show to everyone who wants to experience a life-changing opportunity.

A+E: The Mystery Behind The Tragic Death Of King Von

By Aydn Morris

26 years old Dayvon Bennet, better known as King Von, a prominent Chicago rapper, died after being in the middle of a fatal shooting in Atlanta, Georgia.

King Von's manager refutes Asian Doll's claims about the late rapper's last words - REVOLT

Before fame, Von became involved in criminal activities that led to his first time in jail when he was 16 years old. Then in 2014, he was accused of shooting and killing another person but then was found innocent which led him to start rapping.

Lil Durk signed King Von to his record label, Only the Family label, which is famously known as OTF. Von then made his first hit single Crazy Story which put him on the map in the rap community. He made many hit singles and albums and certified himself as a mainstream rapper.

Before his death King Von dropped his album Welcome to O’Block on October 30,2020. He had features with all of his friends, including Polo G. This album might be the last album King Von drops unless he has unreleased music with his record deal.

King Von also had people he never got along with in the rap industry. Von never got along with Quando Rondo another famous rapper but was from Savannah, Georgia, who many suspect that he was part of the shooting.

According to ABC7Chicago , “Timmothy Leeks faces a felony murder charge in the death of Dayvon Bennett, also known as King Von.” Timothy Leeks is associated with Quando Rondo and was with him and some other friends that were apart of the shooting.

The shooting was Friday morning at around 3:20 am. There is video footage showing Quando and Von fighting in the street but it doesn’t show either of them shooting at each other and actually shows Quando trying to help Von into the car.

The police still haven’t figured out who were the 3 other victims in the shooting, but according to USA Today, “They are trying to figure out who was struck by gunfire and if any were shot by cops that were involved.”

There still isn’t much information about the shooting that has surfaced to many sources, but The Georgia Bureau of Investigations have investigated officers and the police have suspected up to 5 people for the shootout. Many hoping that justice may be reached one day.

A+E: Coherence Play Preview: A Saint John Bosco Thriller Production In The Times Of COVID

By Joaquin Medrano, Managing Editor

After halting the production of a spring play last school year, Saint John Bosco and Saint Joseph students are ready to showcase their talent on stage.

“Coherence” was originally a film production, directed by the acclaimed James Ward Byrkit. A great challenge was taken by the theatre department when adapting the film into a play.

Coherence deals with the fate of eight unique friends who gather in a dinner reunion as a comet passes by. What they never anticipated is that their lives would be turned upside down after the passing of such comet.

The theatre department had to become clever while producing the show, as they were never accustomed to doing anything outside of live theatre.

This year, a new method was used, in which some parts of the play are recorded, while the rest of the play is streamed live to anyone who wants to watch it.

“I enjoyed learning not only how to act in film, but I was also able to learn about the behind the scenes work that goes with it,” said Saint Joseph sophomore Kate Sheehan, who is portraying Lee, the wife of the dinner host, Mike, in Coherence, “I have gained a new appreciation for the art of filmmaking.”

Coherence plays amazingly in the airs of a pandemic, as themes of fear and uncertainty intertwine with the reality of many.

Even as Broadway is not set to open until next year, the theatre department is taking measures to maintain everyone safe, while still maintaining a show to brighten up an audience.

“It’s about engaging in your passions no matter what the situation is,” said senior Andrew vanHaaster, who portrays the nerdy and awkward friend of the group, Amir, “The show is SPOOKY AS HELL if you are looking for something mind-boggling and crazy, then you’re in for a good show.”

The students at Saint John Bosco and Saint Joseph are ready to show the whole community what they have put hours and hours of work into and are ready to see everyone enjoy the show.

The show will have a short run as everything will be live-streamed. The official dates are Friday, November 6th, Saturday, November 7th, and Sunday, November 8th; all shows will begin at 7:30 PM.

In a world where everything is upside down, having the opportunity to enjoy quality entertainment, even for a moment, is an opportunity to not pass up.

A+E: Broadway Not Set To Open Until 2021, What Theatre Companies Are Doing To Attract An Audience

by Joaquin Medrano, Managing Editor

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause the country to be in a state of uncertainty, the main center for theatre around the world is not set to open until the Summer of 2021.

Broadway Will Remain Closed at Least Until June, and Probably Longer - The New York Times

As many dates have been discussed about the future reopening of Broadway, the most proximate date would be somewhere between late-May and mid-June of 2021.

In recent data, according to Broadway League President Charlotte St. Martin, 97,000 people rely on a recent reopening of Broadway for their livelihood. On top of that, Broadway is one of New York’s top tourist attractions, bringing in nearly $15 billion to the city’s economy, which has caused a great number of losses for the state.

As much of the country shut downed on March 12th, Broadway was no exception as that was the last night a show was able to be performed.

After the ongoing fight to keep Broadway alive, this pandemic is a crucial and determining factor for the future. As theatre becomes more and more elaborate, prices keep going up, making the artform harder to maintain accessible for everyone.

The pandemic extremely caused a lot of setbacks in theatres around the globe as well, with people hardly going to see shows before the pandemic, and now having funds on the line of bankruptcy for many companies.

Since the closing of Broadway back in March, at least ten shows have closed during the pandemic, leaving many on pending status for recent reopening.

Recently, a great amount of local theater companies have taken the initiative of producing shows via Zoom or other streaming platforms to give people a escape from reality, escaping the disasters of the world, as the artform has done in history.

Many states are even allowed to have shows in person, depending the number of cases and widespread measures in the state.

Perhaps the next big show will be televised or performed live in a streaming platform, taking Broadway from the big stages to a more economically beneficial platform.

But even if that was the reality, many people would be left with no jobs in the big city of New York. The possibility for a soon competition in Broadway is still very unlikely as many theatergoers would not change the experience of traveling to New York and seeing a show live, with everything the experience has to offer.

As of right now, a soon reopening is far from becoming a reality, but many platforms can use that to their benefit to offer a quick fix to the problem.

Broadway as a whole cannot go away as many people, especially the state of New York, would not allow for a possibility to happen. Only taking measures to make everything better can allow for luck to change in theatres around the globe.

A+E: The Brutality In Nigeria Brought To Mainstream Attention By Kanye West

by Ryan Tavera

As global focus begins to rise against SARS police brutality in Nigeria, prominent figures such as Kanye West have joined the battle against the injustice levied toward the Nigerian people.

US rapper and 2020 Presidential Candidate Kanye West ends his silence and joins a growing list of celebrities that are eagerly addressing the #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria movement.

West has become an influential supporter when it comes to endorsing movements against police brutality. Previously this year, he showed similar strength and support for the Black Lives Matter movement, contributing with a $2 million dollar donation to support George Floyd’s family.

In addition to West, celebrities like Drake, Trey Songs, Star Wars actor John Boyega and many more have come forward to show their support for the protests.

Falana, who is widely known as Falz, took it upon himself to create a protest in order to incite change as he fed up with the numerous acts of harassment and police brutality.

These nationwide protests were a culmination of weeks of anger and outcry on social media from young people accusing the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), with claims of kidnapping, harassment, and extortion, leading to protests throughout cities in Nigeria.

As protests continue to spring up in different parts across the world, Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Abubakar Adamu stated that SARS is wholly dissolved with immediate effect.

“The disbanding of SARS is only the 1st step in our commitment to extensive Police Reforms in order to ensure that the primary duty of the police and other law enforcement agencies remains the protection of lives and livelihood of our people,” said Adamu.

Despite the successful disbanding of SARS, protests continued in cities throughout Nigeria, including major cities such as Lagos, Abuja, and Kwara. Numerous people in the country are united in this battle against the brutality in Nigeria’s police system, saying they will continue to take their voices to the streets until the entire system is reformed.

This struggle is far from over, and as tensions continue to rise with protesters demanding a total reform within the heart of the law enforcement agency, it is solely up to the Nigerian government to listen to these outcries and incite change immediately.

A+E: A Cry For Help, The Truth Behind “Cancel Culture”

by Joaquin Medrano, Managing Editor

Over the last few years, the infamous Gen Z – as well as Millennials – have “canceled” more celebrities than other generations in previous years

The term “Cancel Culture” has been used broadly amongst many teens and young adults over the last few years. The term itself, amongst the younger generations, is associated with the widespread desire to stop supporting major celebrities or corporations in order to protest or boycott them due to mistakes they made.

Many celebrities and YouTube stars such as Doja Cat, Ellen DeGeneres, Kanye West, Trisha Paytas and countless others have been canceled, but are also figures that show that Cancel Culture itself is a faulty system that has come with younger generations fully indulged in the pleasures of the powerful presence they hold on social media.

During the past few months in quarantine, many celebrities were affected for mistakes that rose from the depths of the internet, despite those mistakes having occurred several years ago.

What all of these celebrities have in common is that at one moment, they were at the bottom, and the next day it was like nothing happened, with another celebrity getting canceled as life moved on within the social media platforms.

Cancel culture was established as a way to hold people accountable for their mistakes, as a way to give them time and space to rethink their choices and how they can raise awareness as they are constantly over the spotlight, in order to stop the youth and their fans from making those same mistakes in the future.

Now, it is seen as a form of entertainment, which leaves many wondering, which celebrity may get canceled today? Who is finally getting called out for a semi-offensive tweet from 2010?

In the sense of holding people accountable, the motives are well respected, as long as people are willing to move on after a sincere apology from the celebrity they canceled. However, the resentment held toward these celebrities only makes them more famous and has fixed nothing in the process – sure, they are canceled, but are still trending everywhere.

The fallacy within Cancel Culture is that celebrities are not affected in a negative way or have intents to change their ways, as they see that controversy brings attention, which is followed by increased fame, money, and free promo for whatever they may be doing at that time.

In the case of Kanye West, for example, he is one of the most canceled/uncanceled celebrities at the moment. He uses controversy to sell his image, and in that way attract more people to purchase or support anything Kanye tells them.

It is free publicity for an artist, especially if their careers are on the brink of falling apart, causing only scandals for show and giving a bad example to their followers. The people on social media who do the canceling gain nothing, while the celebrity gains the attention they so desire.

Growing up in an era where everyone is getting canceled and uncanceled every week is not a good example for many followers and the integrity in which celebrities are expected to act. In many ways, it lowers the bar for celebrities, and may even prompt attention seeking influencers to intentionally get canceled for fame.

Everything that cancel culture stands for is being lost, as it is now just a way to find free publicity within increasingly competitive media markets.

Raising awareness about the dangers of cancel culture is extremely important, as not only does it stop people from obtaining free publicity, but also allows for healthier means of entertainment, like in good 1960s comedies.

As time moves on, American entertainment continues to go downhill, with examples of trying to damage others by bringing the past into the present and not allowing for growth in a person.

If accountability for a person is crucial, then cancel culture should cease to exist, and raising awareness should be what replaces this culture, without damaging others’ feelings.

Accountability is to take action to move towards greatness, while cancel culture is free publicity on mistakes a person will never take responsibility or feel remorse for.

A+E: Online Music Festivals Have Taken Over Following Ban On Public Events

by Alex Rotter

Since the COVID-19 Pandemic, all events that were supposed to happen were canceled because of the outbreak.Since then, companies are trying to find a way to still do the events from home.

A few weeks ago, the Insomniac company hosted an online music festival that hosted different types of artists. The online concert was two days and it lasted from 8 PM – 12 AM. The first event got over one million people from all around the world to watch the Livestream. The best part about the virtual concert is that it is free to tune in. Since they got really good viewers on the first online festival they did, they have been hosting one every weekend so people have something to do. Insomniac wants people to have fun watching the stream since you are limited to activities at home. On May 15, 16, and 17, they will be hosting a three-day event for EDC Las Vegas and you will be able to watch different sets on different channels.

Another event called the Digital Mirage was hosted by Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade, this festival was able to raise up to 300,000 dollars for people who have the coronavirus. This concert was also free to attend but they recommended that you donate so they can raise more money for the coronavirus.   The event lasted from 12 PM – 2 AM and they were able to gain over 4.1 million viewers in total for three days.  Some really popular music artists are also hosting music events on Instagram live. The artists are playing a lot of their popular songs and they also play some unreleased music that people haven’t heard yet.

Another festival that is happening is the Dreamworld online music festival. This online festival is raising money for the Heart Water Foundation. If you also buy their water bottles, they are also helping improve the lives of children suffering from poverty, disease, and addiction. When someone donates to the charity, they will send money to hospitals so they can help with COVID-19. This festival lasted for three days and had over 50 artists performing.

The Room Service festival is another event that happened on April 14-16. It was a three-day event that had over 50 plus artists attending. Each day, the festival would last from 12 PM to 1:30 AM. The music festival was hosted by Chill Nation and Trap Nation which are Youtube channels that have over 30 million subscribers. They delivered a music festival that got up to 2.5 million viewers in total for all three days. It was also a music festival that was raising charity for Feeding America and Sweet Relief. Feeding America is a charity that helps people that need food and starving from hunger. The Sweet Relief charity is for music musicians and industry workers that are struggling because of illness. In total, they made over 135,000 dollars for all three days.

Fortnite hosted an online concert for Travis Scott and there were about twelve million players online. Fortnite also added a Travis Scott and Astroworld skin that you were able to buy from the item shop. The concert insisted on really colorful animations that made the concert very special to people who love Travis Scott. The concert lasted for ten minutes but it was a really exciting concert to attend in a game.

The music festivals have been a great way for people to take their minds off COVID-19 while also contributing to great causes. There will surely be many more events to follow, as their popularity is only increasing.

A+E: Roddy Ricch’s newfound fame and publicity draws the envy of former superstars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez

by Joshua Whitfield

Roddy Ricch has become one of the most popular rappers over the past couple of months through his intelligent social media tactics, and catchy songs.

In 2019 new upcoming rapper Roddy Ricch dropped his most successful album to date titled “Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial”. This album featured 16 songs and was released on December 6, 2019, on all major streaming platforms. It would soon take the nation by storm and put his name on the map, thanks to the help of the second song on his album titled “The Box”.

“The Box” for two consecutive weeks held The Billboard Hot 100 spot above two other major artists namely Justin Bieber’s “Yummy” and Selena Gomez’s “Rare”. They were neck and neck, but neither of the artists could overtake Roddy Ricch’s new fame and publicity.

Justin Bieber released “Yummy” January 3, 2020, and was expecting to topple over “The Box” and take the number 1 spot, yet it didn’t happen. “Yummy”, which is also the name of the album, had the utmost importance for Justin Bieber. Overtaking Roddy Ricch turned into a social media fiasco and Bieber told his audience of over 120 million on Instagram to stream on Spotify and raise his song to number one. Justin Bieber on Instagram Live had him lying down while begging his followers to go listen to “Yummy”.

“Stream Yummy like please,” said Justin Bieber on his Livestream.

As Justin Bieber tried to share and publicize loopholes to get his recent project to the number 1 spot, his direct competition Roddy Ricch tweeted out on January 11 to go and listen to Justin’s “Yummy”. This promotion that Roddy gave him gathered so much attention, with 25,000 retweets and 138,000 likes on twitter.

“Stream yummy by Justin Bieber,” said Roddy Ricch.

This had the opposite effect of what it was meant for and it just put artist Roddy Ricch in a better light than Justin Bieber because even though Justin tried to get ahead of him in a very underhanded way, he still supported Justin. This indirect support for Justin turned into more support for Roddy Ricch because more people streamed his new hit “The  Box” more than before. This kept him ahead of someone who used very blatant manipulation techniques to game the system for his own benefit.

Justin Bieber was not the only one to be outshined as “The Box” dominated the charts, artist Selena Gomez participated in these very petty social media outbursts to increase her ranking.

Selena Gomez released her new album called “Rare” on January 10, to then turn to Instagram in the exact same way as Justin did. Selena on Instagram live said to her 169 million followers to go stream her album.

“I would love for the most important album I’ve ever released to become number one, so if you don’t mind streaming it or listening to it on all the platforms it would mean the absolute world to me,” said Selena.

Selena didn’t go as far as Justin did, but Selena had to beg for fans to stream her album to overtake an artist who is on the rise. Selena a few days later would go on to Instagram live with her and three friends to go on a run to three local convenience stores to buy the album herself, so it would count towards her overall sales.

“Am I kind of desperate for doing this, I don’t care, I don’t care,” said Selena.

Unlike Justin, for a moment Selena overtook Roddy Ricch and came out on top with her album at the number one spot. Many people expressed on social media how she lost respect from a lot of people because of the clear desperation that was shown to get her album to number one and the methods she used to do so. As well as how her competition Roddy Ricch tweeted out to stream Selena Gomez’s album the same way he did with Justin Bieber.

Unbeknownst to Roddy, his clear support of his direct competition had the opposite effect and gave him more publicity, streams, and a better PR after the fact. People know Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez gave up their dignity to get more sales, yet a recently popular rapper who had hit the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time in his career, defeated them by trying to help.

A+E: Direct My Actions Not My Love

by Matthew Ruiz

When watching a romance movie, naturally they end in matrimony, but what about a movie that begins with a marriage ending?

When watching Noah Baumbach’s New film “Marriage Story” Starring Scarlett Johansson as Nicole and Adam Driver as Charlie, it’s intense to see their marriage falling apart. It’s a tear jerker, frustrating, and funny film at times the plot jumps around and shows the audience the realism and heartbreaks of families going through a divorce.

Nicole and Charlie are a very active couple who together have an eight year old child named Henry played by Azhy Robertson. They live in Brooklyn and both work in Charlie’s Film Theater. Nicole is a former Hollywood star, she’s very brave, competitive, infectious, and full of love. Charlie is a Director/Actor who’s a persistent man, self Sufficient, and a very good cook. As the film opens we see how each partner describes the other and we learn just who each of them are and what their internal feelings are before anything happens.

What follows is rage and awkwardness between them. Happiness is a very inexpressible and a very special privilege to have within a family. When they split, they find a new look for themselves with Nicole finding her own path in going back to Los Angeles and doing her own acting there. Charlie on the other hand stays in Brooklyn, but he will soon be traveling back and forth from New York to Los Angeles. The aftermath shows the misery of getting a divorce, the Lawyers. Nicole and Charlie become pawns in a drama filled divorce case neither want to be in.

Nicole goes with a very successful and well known LA Lawyer named “Nora”, who’s a published author and Lawyer. Charlie is stuck between two lawyers who want to crush Nicole and her lawyer in getting custody over Henry, while the other wants to go the safe route. If Charlie wants custody of Henry he needs to “Change the Narrative” and move the case to New York.

The most irritating part of this movie is how both Nicole and Charlie are acting like dense and greedy children sometimes. With Nicole, she doesn’t want to tell Charlie the truth in terms of when things need to be done with the divorce papers, who is supposed to have Henry for special holidays, and ignores the fact that Charlie has a heart too, who just wants to spend time with his son. Yet Charlie acts like a child during their marriage. Charlie had an affair with the costume designer he works with, but the audience has to feel some sense of remorse or pity for the guy.

He’s a hard working father that is trying to balance his family life, work, and divorce. The struggles he goes through and the position Nicole puts him in was hard to watch. Adam Driver did a phenomenal job of showing his emotions and bringing out the realization of being a single father, while also trying to direct a play on the other side of the country. Scarlett Johansson also did a good job acting like a mother but also acting like a “villain”.

One of the most powerful and intense scenes in the movie is when Charlie and Nicole finally want to “talk” but what ends up happening they get into a really heated argument saying some threatening words and bringing up family members to compare to. The disconnection this family has is very well presented in this scene, and the hatred they both have for each other is incomprehensible. Charlie is in an emotional wreck and Nicole is already moved on and has found a new man. The case closed with Nicole winning and both parents have to share Henry every other weekend. This movie was very sad and depressing, and it was like a hard pill to swallow on how the reality of a hard marriage can be.
